ADMISSIONS CLOSED FOR THE 13TH BATCH OF OUR APPLIED BUDDHIST PSYCHOLOGY COURSE…
Hello
We begin with homage to our teachers because all our growth has been tied to a lineage of teachers who have with great skill, compassion and wisdom taught us and helped deepen that understanding through their words and actions.
Quite simply, the wisdom and compassion that we attempt to share through our work is not something that we would have been likely to find by ourselves, and this homage is simply to point any interested student of Dharma in their direction.
We offer our deepest respect, love, and gratitude to
His Holiness the Dalai Lama,
Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche,
Ven. Geshe Dorji Damdul la,
Ven. Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo,
Geshe Lhakdor la
and the many teachers we have had the honour and good fortune to study from, as well as the very many teachers whose teachings stay alive through books, transcripts of talks and videos- whose compassion, wisdom, and guidance continue to shape our understanding and practice.
We remain especially grateful to Ven. Geshe Dorji Damdul la for his unwavering support, guidance, and presence through the range of programs offered at Tibet House, New Delhi (Cultural Centre of His Holiness the Dalai Lama), which continue to nurture and deepen our study and practice.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Asha Pillai Balsara for connecting us to Dharma, for her teachings and her confidence that we would be able to walk this path; and to Zubin, Aanand, Deborah & the team at WCCL Foundation (Pune) for their continued support and encouragement in this journey.
We stay committed to our own study and practice, recognising that this unfolding and application is not a one-time achievement, but something we return to and live with, consistently and with care.
And it stays our deepest aspiration that we are able to study and practice in a manner that allows us to give back a fraction of what we have received.
Best,
Nivedita Chalill
Over time, many of us find ourselves returning to similar questions:
How does one stay anchored in the face of change?
What drives our moods and behaviour?
What shapes our patterns, our relationships, our suffering?
Why is there so much suffering, and how do we respond to it?
And is it possible to live with a little more clarity, steadiness, and care?
In exploring these questions, we find ourselves returning to a rich and rigorous Indian knowledge tradition—one that has studied the mind in remarkable depth, and continues to offer ways of understanding and working with it that remain deeply relevant today.
As part of our commitment to well-being, we see immense value in engaging with this wisdom—not as something distant or abstract, but as something that can support our mental health, inform our choices, and gently shape the direction in which we grow.
How we share this work
There isn’t just one way to engage.
Some people come with curiosity, some with a wish to understand their minds better, and some simply looking for a space to pause and reflect.
We offer a few different entry points:
A Online Monthly Offering: OMO…connect
Once a month, we meet online in an open space to learn, reflect, and explore a different topic together.
